It was a real pleasure to be in the Tsubaki House and to visit Kyoto. Living in the traditional house was a stunning experience for us, Good memories to keep from Japan!

Thank you for the lovely welcome and great recommendations.
Your home is charming and gave us a small taste of local Japanese living.
The Japanese bath was especially relaxing and a unique experience.
Our three boys loved feeding the fish each morning and hiding under the table.
Thank you also for the cake, breakfast goods and wine. These touches are great after a day of exploring your beautiful city.

Dear Akira-san and Masayo-san, Thank you both very much for everything - the tour, manuals, maps(hand - made - ones, subways, etc.), and for being very communicative. My friends and I had a fun time ( in English, we call this “a blast!”) while staying in Kyoto.

Dear Akira & Masayo, Tlazocamati (thank you) for allowing us to stay at Tsubaki-ann Kyoto for part of our trip to Japan. It is truly one of the most beautiful and unique places I have ever stayed and really made us feel like we were IN Japan. 古民家ならではの良さをたくさん 満喫できた3日間でした。 紹介して下さった「衣笠温泉」「天山の湯」 最高でした。また、京都マラソンのコースも 走ることができ、嬉しかったです。

おかげさまで、思い出深い 京都旅行になりました。

今回は、体調不良で来れなかった 姉家族を連れて、次回も京都に 来た際は、利用させていただきたい と思います。

To Mr. Ohashi and Masayo-san,

We had a wonderful three days fully enjoying the unique charm of a traditional Japanese house. The "Kinugasa Onsen" and "Tenzan-no-yu" you recommended were absolutely fantastic! I was also so happy to be able to run along the Kyoto Marathon course.

Thanks to your hospitality, this trip to Kyoto has become a truly memorable one.

Next time, I would love to come back with my sister’s family, who unfortunately couldn't make it this time due to illness. We look forward to staying with you again when we visit Kyoto!

Thank you for the lovely stay. We love all of the beautiful artwork in your home. We love the antique details and the design. The triangular cabinet and the beautiful dishes within. 

We love the tiny doorways and the way you have made such thoughtful and mindful use of the smallest of spaces. The garden - the koi - the tiny doorways - the balcony! It has all been delightful and we truly appreciate you sharing your space with all of us.

If you visit Montana again, please let us know!

素敵な滞在をありがとうございました。お宅の美しいアート作品の数々に心を奪われました。アンティークの細部やデザインも素晴らしく、三角形のキャビネットや、その中に収められた美しい食器も特に気に入りました。
