Tsubaki Ann Kyoto is a renovated traditional "Machiya" managed and operated by Kyoto-born people with an international background.
Tsubaki Ann Kyoto is a newly renovated Machiya (traditional style house) built more than 90 years ago. You will experience the traditional lifestyle in Kyoto and also enjoy the modern facilities such as clean bathrooms and kitchen.
It is conveniently located in the city of Kyoto and has great access to Kinkakuji and Arashiyama.
You will receive a warm welcome and full support from friendly staff with an international background.
In the house, there are two shower rooms, one with a bathtub and another one with a shower only. There are two toilets in the separate rooms, so it is definitely convenient for a large group's stay. Also, there is a powder room with three sinks and mirrors, and also three hair dryers, so you can prepare yourselves easily in the busy morning!
The house is of a very special style. Not only due to its traditional decoration with antique furniture but also offers convenient features such as many sockets, television, wifi, hair dryers, night lamps, etc.
We have a small pond with goldfishes in our little lovely backyard, so kids can enjoy feeding the fish!
